Tell The Wolves I’m Home

This is a terrific story. It’s about love, sibling rivalry, misunderstandings, growing up and compassion.  June and Greta are sisters, teenagers growing up in New York.  Uncle Finn is June’s godfather and she is cray about her uncle.  He is an artist and he is dying of AIDS.  June’s parents have a fear of AIDS and they make that well known.  Toby is Finn’s friend.  June becomes friends with Toby against and unknown to her parents.

What ensues is how June comes to grips with all of this and how she and Greta find their way back to each other.

It’s a sad but beautiful story.  Well worth reading or listening to.
