Jodi Picoult’s book Wish You We’re Here is a page turner. Part 1 takes the reader on an incredible journey to the Galápagos Islands. Part 2 is rather mystical. The whole story is set in contemporary times amidst the pandemic. Diana and Finn are engaged. He is a resident and she is an artist who works at Sotheby’s. They plan a trip to the Galapagos and then Covid hits and Finn must remain to work the cases at the hospital. What ensues is quite a story.
It was interesting for me to read of the experiences of Covid and post Covid patients. Eye opening really.
I’m glad I read this book.
